Our Most High God

We serve the Most High God.

This week I (Carole) went back to Santa Fe, NM for an interpreter week long workshop. I thought I was going back to learn more about being an interpreter and I did; however God had completely different plans for me. The first night in Santa Fe a few girls and I went out to eat and we learned we were all Christians. It was a blessing to be able to share about what Jesus was doing in my life. One of the girls came to my room when we got back to campus and was hungry for the Word and deepening her relationship with Jesus Christ. We had a bible study every morning before our workshops and she was able to come to our bible study community group through Blaze Christian Fellowship on Wednesday night. We discussed and prayed through the first couple chapters of Romans to prepare for Wednesday night. Wednesday night was a blessing and brought up more questions to study so we focused on justification, sanctification, living by the spirit vs our flesh, and prayer. Her faith was renewed and her desire to read the Word and deepen her relationship with Christ grew. During the week, my mind was fixed on Jesus and I was blessed with amazing fellowship daily. Our God is good.

Dan and I are currently in Chicago, Il. We just got in and have already been blessed to see many family members and friends. Our next blog will be about what God did in the Chicagoland area.

First week back in PA

Well as most of you know Carole and I were living in Santa Fe, NM until about a week ago but we have since moved everything that we own back to western PA (to my families farm) in preparation for going to Costa Rica in September. We left Santa Fe, NM last Sunday the 27th of June at approx. 10:30 and drove 11 hours to arrive in Tulsa, Ok where we stayed for the night. We got up early the next morning to drive another 8 hours to Carbondale, IL (very southern tip of IL) where we stopped at Carole's friends place for the night. We got to meet a some of her friends and Carole had the opportunity to go to her friends bible study(only girls) which just happened to be that night. The next morning we headed out about 7:30 and drove another 11 hours to arrive safe and sound at our destination in Mercer, PA. My parents, my uncle, both my brothers and their wives and my 10 mo. old niece were all staying at the house for most of week in addition to multiple other friends and family coming over for dinners and bonfires and games.(Yeah it's been crazy). Last night Carole and I were blessed greatly by some long time good friends coming over and praying for us after we shared what we are going to be doing and where God was calling us. God has been so great to us and we are so fortunate to have an awesome group of friends and family supporting us and backing us on this new journey.

Until you see us or we see Him be a light in the dark and a calm in the storm, giving all praise and glory to God!
