Olive's Junior Kids (7-10 year) Chicago Triathlon
Olive swam 100 meter, biked 2.2 miles and ran .62 miles!
We all woke up at 430 am to get to Foster Beach on time to set up.
Daddy helped Olive get set up in Transition very early in the morning.

Even though my parents were not able to make it downtown, they were cheering us on in their homes and on the sidelines with their faces on sticks!
Caleb, one of our good friends and staff from Jamaica, came from Minnesota to see us too!

Each of us completed the International Distance Triathlon which normally is a
.95 mile swim, 24.8 mile bike and a 6.2 mile run!
Unfortunately, due to dangerous waves, the swim part of the event was cancelled so we had a .95 mile run to start instead. We all got to start together!

We all took the Blue Line downtown to the expo and registered for the event.
Our names were on a big sign with all the other participates!
