Dan's Pastoral Visit: One week in South Africa

Dan was able to make a pastoral visit to South Africa, and, wow, it was a FUN- FILLED WEEK! God provided, through our team leader Veledise, such a variety of ministries. Veledise was so bold in reaching out to Deaf schools and Deaf people in each location. Her efforts filled this outreach with so many opportunities to connect and share the gospel! The team connected with 2 Deaf schools, one Catholic and one public, as well as a YWAM youth group with two CODAs (child of Deaf adult-who brought their parents to the youth group that night!). In addition, they were able to work on a farm that feeds the homeless.  Everyone on the team was able to experience something they enjoyed. And in the midst of all ministry that was occurring while he was there, Dan was having one- on- one's, meeting with everyone individually and pointing the team to recognize all that God was doing.

DAY 2 of farming

Before (above) and after (below) pictures!  Our team worked really hard, and the group was so amazed and blessed by how much the team accomplished in two days. Also, God spoke some amazing things to our team as they pulled weeds.

A Hike

Dan even got in a hike on his day off, which is always a highlight for him. God even provided a rainbow!

Thank you for your prayers for Dan as he traveled to South Africa to encourage the team!
